with Mike + Terese
This Colorado mountain wedding session at Boettcher Mansion was a warm summer night to remember. Between the sunset bride and groom portraits overlooking the valley and Denver, the bride’s dance skills, and the groom’s epic vows, Mike and Terese’s wedding was 10/10. Their fast wit, and way of bouncing off each other like they’ve been friends since kindergarten made their small wedding portraits easy and fun. I knew this was a day they had both been looking forward to for a long time, and upon first look of Terese in her gown, is was a fight to keep the eyes dry before the ceremony. When they both gave in to tears of joy during their vows, it was the highlight of the day. But I think by far my favorite love story photography moment of their wedding day was the first dance. These two fit like a glove, especially on the dance floor, with so much excitement and love for each other it was so fun to see their excitement to be married come through in the first dance together as husband and wife. That pure excitement and happiness is my favorite thing about wedding days as a Colorado traveling wedding photographer.
