with Sarah + Dylan
Classic mountain countryside wedding but make it wild and free!! Sarah and Dylan’s wedding day in Steamboat Springs, Colorado was absolutely gorgeous. Every colorful detail was rooted in Colorado pride and family love. The wedding took place on the groom’s family ranch just outside of town. After getting ready and a first look by the old blue barn, everyone headed down to the riverside for the ceremony. The ceremony space was lined with sunflowers and heart shaped rocks at every turn to honor the groom’s brothers memory. A folk guitar duo started the moment off by playing and singing while Dylan’s parents took him by both hands to led him down the aisle.
Both the bride, groom, and just about every guest had tears in their eyes throughout the ceremony. You could really feel the love between all these people and their sense of community. After some fun and breezy portraits with the newlyweds, we headed to join the reception! The entire tent was decorated with Sarah’s inspiration of wildflowers, Vermont maple syrup gifts, and colorful bandanas as napkins. The emotions continued with heartfelt speeches and lots of hugs, before it was time for dancing! We ended the night on a rowdy note, getting fun shots of all their friends hoisting them onto their shoulders. Sounds like the perfect plan for your wedding?
