with Shelby + Kyle
Getting married in a glass atrium never looked so good! Shelby and Kyle chose an intimate wedding on an early October morning at the Denver Botanical Gardens. Shelby’s lace detail dress and swoon-worthy accessories stole the morning limelight while getting ready at the Kimpton Hotel Born in downtown Denver. Inside an intimate glass building surrounding by flowers and greenery, this fairytale ceremony was wrapped in a purple and white palette, with flowers at every turn. Morning light, a slight breeze, and live performance by two cello musicians set the tone for the mellow ceremony. The bride and groom skipped a first look and waited to see each other until Shelby was walking towards him for their commitment in front of only their closest family.
The ceremony was short and sweet, with a big exciting finish as the groom honored the bride’s Jewish family by the breaking of the glass. The lovers signed their license, and then began the wedding brunch feast. Never heard of a wedding brunch? You have now. Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, and bubbly mimosas made for an amazing breakfast spread. After getting their fill, the bride and groom cut their cake and sent their family off to get the reception ready in Boulder. We spent the rest of our time wandering the Denver Botanic Gardens for flora inspired newlywed portraits, with a range of colorful backdrops. Sounds magical right?
